AV stars in the industry will have some serious competition now that a Japanese social media star is about to mark her debut with S1 studio. The actress who goes by the alias 'Unpai' is set to make her debut in the AV world next month.
With a follower count standing at around upwards of 3 million solely on Tiktok, the new debutant seems to have pretty good leverage over her industry counterparts in case of fan following and if that's not enough to make you realize the amplitude of her fanbase, just bear in mind the fact her other social media channels bring around a significant chunk of her followers as well. Currently, at the time of writing this piece she boasts around 220k followers on Twitter. Besides that, around 100k combined comes from two of the social media heavyweights Instagram & Youtube. That's quite an achievement already for an AV debutante, what's even more commendable is that a huge chunk of those followers are from platforms prevalent in the international market.

Fans of the social media star rejoiced as she broke the news of her AV debut on her own SNS channel. here's what the upcoming actress had to say:

Her tweet garnered around 3500+ likes in a matter of hours. Just solely judging by the numbers I'd say she was definitely trending in the Japanese Twitter space for the last few hours. What's left now is for her to impress with her talent in AVs, something which she has already done in the past with her social media platforms. The trailer put up by S1 already gives you the idea of what to expect from her debut work. The studio has put together quite a colorful representation of the star, adding snippets of her Tiktok and giving us adequate glimpes of Unpai for the fans to eye gobble the much awaited work.
In a time when AV debuts are at it's all time peak, thanks to the pandemic for making Japanese females question their career choices and flipping to AV but it takes time to make a dent in the industry, Unpai however stands out with her already large fanbase.
